Nice testings Danilo! I suppose steel ring would fly away if left behind the sealing lips, for the free shaft. Small amount of water is sufficient to eject it.
Nizza collaudi Danilo! Piccole quantità di acqua è sufficiente per espellere.31 Marzo 2015 alle 7:59 #311918020DaniloPartecipanteNice testings Danilo! anyway the steel ring is supported by another longer sleeve which is not anchored at all and, unfortunately, it doesn’t fly out….and I think that with the ouside water pressure the situation gets even worse…..
31 Marzo 2015 alle 8:28 #311919tromicPartecipanteAwaiting your drawing, to understand your idea better…
🙂I suppose you want to make something similar in functionality to this:

… both for free shaft and for shaft using slider…but using silicon tubing.
Here is an old video of Tomba10F:

31 Marzo 2015 alle 9:23 #311920020DaniloPartecipante…nothing to do with it….I put you on the wrong track cause I mentioned “sleeve” but word sleeve has many meanings…
manicotto in italian…
anyway hang on a little bit longer….31 Marzo 2015 alle 10:02 #311921tromicPartecipante@020Danilo wrote:

OK, io sono curioso di vedere le vostre idee interessanti …31 Marzo 2015 alle 10:22 #311922020DaniloPartecipante….it’s not very interesting…..(free shaft) this is the drawing if the steel ring doesn’t be spat out….
..questo disegno nel caso in cui la rondella non viene sputata fuori (asta nuda)..this is the drawing in case the steel ring is flown out
nel caso in cui la rondella venisse spinta fuori (asta nuda)…in the second case would be even better…but as I said the steel ring did not fly out during the test….
nel secondo caso sarebbe anche meglio ma come ho detto la rondella non e’ volata via durante il test…31 Marzo 2015 alle 11:20 #311923tromicPartecipanteSo, that steel ring (8 mm ID) is only for free shaft 7 mm to have the shaft in center? I suppose it could not make the friction to lips much lower, especially at depth. Why do not you make it in plastic?
Perché non fai in plastica?31 Marzo 2015 alle 11:26 #311924020DaniloPartecipante….no sorry, the 8mm hole is the hole of the ammortizer….
il foro da 8mm e’ per la boccola d’ ammortizzo31 Marzo 2015 alle 11:35 #311925tromicPartecipante@020Danilo wrote:

In questo caso potrebbe utilizzare un mozzicone di asta avente inferiore a 8 mm (7,5 mm)?31 Marzo 2015 alle 12:31 #311926020DaniloPartecipante….7mm for 6.5 shaft which is the one I would use…..
…codolo da 7mm per aste da 6.5 che e’ quella che userei…31 Marzo 2015 alle 12:35 #311927tromicPartecipante@020Danilo wrote:

Nice! Pur avendo PU sull’asta.31 Marzo 2015 alle 12:52 #311928020DaniloPartecipanteNice! Also having PU on the shaft. 🙂
